The Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Games Festival returns to Resorts World Las Vegas for its ninth iteration this November, this time partnering up with PokerStars and its prestigious North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas.

As usual, the festival will be hosted by none other than Cardplayer Lifestyle founder Robbie Strazynski, who will also be celebrating his 43rd birthday on the opening day of the event, which means players can expect quite a bash to get things going.

Tournament Action Galore
While mixed cash games are traditionally the staple of the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Games Festival, its ninth iteration will feature a total of three co-branded Cardplayer Lifestyle and NAPT events.
Two of the three events will cater to the Festival’s usual audience, made up of casual poker fans and aficionados who prefer playing poker for reasonable stakes, each featuring a $550 buyin.
The third and biggest event will feature a $5,300 buyin, catering to the more hardcore poker pros, plenty of whom will already be around Resorts World these days playing in the various NAPT events.
In total, you can look forward to playing in any of these three Mixed Games Festival tournaments:
- November 7: $550 Cardplayer Lifestyle H.E.R.O.S (Unlimited Re-entry)
- November 8: $5,300 Cardplayer Lifestyle 8-Game (Unlimited Re-entry)
- November 9: $550 Cardplayer Lifestyle 8-Game (Unlimited Re-entry)
This time around, the Mixed Games Festival will coincide remarkably with one of the best live poker tournaments this year, which means the fields should be more stacked and prize pools bigger than ever before.
Win Big at the Cash Game Tables
The Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Games Festival has always been a poker bonanza that gives back to the players, and this time around will be no different.
While the full details of all the giveaways and promotions for Mixed Games Festival have not been revealed, we already know that two cash game players will win seats into one of the $550 tournaments via a random drawing scheduled for November 6.
For each hour of cash game played during the festival, players will receive one entry into the drawing, with two lucky players getting a free seat into the exclusive tournaments.
Other perks and prizes will also be available for the players and revealed at a date closer to the Festival, but we already know that the action will be heated at the tables regardless of what these may be.
As always, mixed cash game tables will be available with stakes ranging from $4/8 to $10/20, with higher games available upon request.
All cash game action will run at the existing Resorts World poker room, which rates as one of the best in all of Las Vegas, while tournaments will run in a designated tournament area that will be set up on the second floor of the casino.
All players who show up to play the Mixed Games Festival on time will get to hang out with Robbie and a number of PokerStars Ambassadors who will make appearances at the events and mingle with the cash game players randomly throughout the week.
A Complete Experience for True Poker Fans
Poker events run across continents all year round, but few offer the kind of experience that Mixed Games Festival does, as it is designed to bring together a special brand of poker fans whose love for the game transcends other reasons for playing.
In each of the previous eight versions of the Festival, we have seen players from all over the world come together, share stories, create memories, and play their favorite games for stakes they can afford and without unnecessary stress.
Mixed Games Festival IX promises all this and more, as the partnership with the PokerStars NAPT promises to give it extra visibility and bring in more players than ever.
If you are a fan of mixed game poker and someone who enjoys playing poker for the camaraderie and competition, with monetary prizes as a secondary goal, then this Festival is one you don’t want to miss.
