Following a successful debut last year, the “Poker Players Panel” will return to the iGaming North America (iGNA) this year, giving poker players the opportunity to offer their perspective to the industry’s top execs.
iGNA, the most important US-focused conference on the online gaming calendar, runs March 19-21 at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, with over 40 sessions and events.
The Poker Players Panel, sponsored by PokerTracker, gives professional and semi-professional players the chance to offer their unique perspective on the industry to a crowd of industry attendees.
Panel host and pokerfuse Editor Michael Gentile plans to discuss topics such as third party software tools, loyalty programs, and customer service, focused on the nascent regulated online poker market in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware.
One player on the panel is Shaun Deeb, a high stakes online and live tournament player with over $2m in live winnings, $3m in online tournament winnings, and likely millions more in the high stakes mixed games online and live.
Joining him are two Ultimate Poker Team Pros: Jason Somerville, a successful professional online and live player and one of the most recognized and liked personalities in the community, and Danielle Andersen, known as “dmoongirl” online, who rose to prominence through her starring role in the poker documentary, Bet Raise Fold.
Completing the panel is Dominic L. Ricciardi, MD, a Las Vegas Physician and semi-professional poker player who has recently started playing regulated online poker in the US to keep his poker skills sharp.
The player’s panel debuted in 2013 and deemed a great success by participants. Chaired by Marco Valerio, the panel provided a unique opportunity to participants in bridging the communication gap between online poker operators—many of them new to the industry—and a core part of their customer base.
