Would-be entrants into Nevada’s soon-to-launch online poker market continue lining up, with a 12th application for an operator’s license recently filed by Sartini Synergy Online, LLC on behalf of Golden Gaming Group, a middle-level operation with interests in casinos, extended-stay inns and restaurants.
Golden Gaming Group operates three casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado (Mardi Gras, Golden Gates, and Golden Gulch) in addition to its Nevada operations, where it operates the state’s third largest slot-machine route, with 2500 units spread across 200 properties.
Golden Gaming Group’s Golden Tavern entity also operates a 40-property, eight-brand tavern including PT’s Pub chain, and Golden Gaming’s interests also include the Pahrump Nugget casino, besides managing four other Vegas-area casinos for the Siegel Group.
Specifics regarding Golden Gaming Group’s application are not yet available, and the company has yet to announce any software or business agreements in connection with its future Nevada online poker plans.
South Point is expected to be the first operator to offer online poker in Nevada with other operators seeking interactive gaming licenses sure to be close behind.
