Short deck poker is one of the newer forms of the game, and it is rare to see a full series devoted to the form. GGPoker is redressing that in July however, with a week-long 6+ Series.

Normally, short deck poker, also known as 6+ since only the cards 6 through ace are used in the game, appears alongside other formats in a larger series, as an alternative to more common forms of the game using the full 52-card deck. It is rare to see a full series devoted to the 36-card deck, but GGPoker is known for bringing innovative formats to the fore.

The operator was one of the early adopters of the short deck format online, running two bracelet events in the 6+ game last year during the Covid-modified WSOP 2020. It has also introduced innovative game formats like Flip & Go and Battle Royale.

This current series began on July 4, and runs through July 11 with 100 events, including Stage 1 days, with more than $1 million in guarantees across the games. Overall, there is about $37 guaranteed per dollar of buy-in (Gtd/Buy-In), but there are a few events that are a lot juicier.

There are a total of 71 events across the week-long series, with ten events already complete on July 4. The games run through the week culminating on July 11 with the Sunday Main, and both versions of the Bounty Main Event.

The Mini version of the Bounty Main has some massive value attached as well, with nearly $1,000 Gtd/Buy-In, but even the full-sized version is full of value. Players in the Short Deck Bounty Main Event will enjoy almost $200 Gtd/Buy-In.

In fact, most of the big value comes on the final day of the series. The third juiciest event is the Short Deck Midstack Special [3-Stack, 30bb] with $166.67 Gtd/Buy-In, and it starts 40 minutes after the Bounty Main Events get going.

With a bit more than $1 million guaranteed over the week, there is a lot of value throughout the 6+ series this week. Low-stakes players can get into games for as little as $30, and those low buy-in games are among the juiciest. There are also options at $50, $52.50, and $88 for sub-$100 tournaments, but there is action for the high rollers as well.

The Super High Roller game costs $10,300 to join, and there are a number of games priced at $1,050. The majority of games are $250 or less to get into however, with an average buy-in of around $385.
