The WSOP 2021 PLO Week was more than a week—and there was more than just PLO on offer.
With 15 events across two weeks from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online 2021, it was the longest “feature week” on the schedule. It ended up collecting more than $8 million in prizes, bringing the series total to $14,069,607.
There are a total of 26 events complete now in the domestic portion of WSOP 2021 Online, and more than 21,000 entries have contributed to the $14 million in prizes so far. More than 10,000 of those entries came during PLO Week, as 10244 entries combined for $8,055,597 collected over PLO Week.

One of the games featured on Double Bracelet Day was the Lucky 7’s High Roller. At $7,777, it was the biggest buy-in of the series, and it is no surprise it bagged the biggest prize pool as well when 151 entries combined for the only prize pool of the series so far to exceed $1 million.

The end of PLO Week saw the largest prize pool so far, and the only prize pool to hit seven figures in the series to date. It came in the biggest buy-in of the series, Event 25 Lucky 7’s High Roller. But the highest value events of the week came near the end, with some of the smallest buy-ins of the series: The $400 Event 24 and $500 Event 25 built up total prize pools of $423,360 and $503,100, respectively.
Event 17 also attracted a lot of players. The $400 8-Max event drew 1,125 entries for a total prize pool of $405,000.
Despite being called PLO Week, there were actually only three Omaha games throughout the week. They drew modest fields and ended up with $400-$500 prizes/buy-in, putting them in the middle of the value range for the series so far.

Seven Bracelets Still on Offer on 888poker/WSOP US Network
While the series is drawing to a close as it moves into Championship Week, there are still seven bracelets left to hand out. That includes the massive Grand Finale, with a $1 million guarantee for only $500 on August 1.
That is just the beginning of WSOP action this year though, as the end of the domestic bracelet series on 888poker/WSOP US Network leads into the international series on GGPoker starting August 1. Additionally, WSOP recently announced 8 more bracelets on offer in its newest poker room, WSOP PA.
With the PA announcement shortly after entering that market, and plans to expand into Michigan soon as well, it seems likely there will be more events added to the MI market when it opens. While there is no confirmation or details yet, adding an MI series would bring the WSOP 2021 bracelet total to an unprecedented 185.
Of course, the online action will be followed up by nearly three months of live poker action in Las Vegas and the Czech Republic. That includes the return of the Main Event in a familiar form, with the first day of action in the Big Show kicking off on November 4.
