It is no mystery that the Mystery Bounty Tournaments format (MBT) format is the hottest craze in tournament poker right now, and 888poker has gone all-in on it. With multiple games on the operator’s daily schedule, there is no time of day when players can’t find an MB game to try for envelopes.
888poker went the extra mile in the mystery department with its recent series dedicated entirely to the MB format that featured more than $2 million in guarantees. That series saw almost 34,000 entries across the 29 events with nothing but mystery bounty games.
Now the operator is stepping up again with the Mystery Weekend Series, featuring a multi-flight concept that will play out over a week. $300k Mystery Bounty Weekend
888poker is all-in with the mystery bounty format this week with the Mystery Weekend series. There are Day 1 flights for the two multi-flight events starting on April 26, plus several Mystery Bounty side events with juiced-up guarantees.
The Main Events
The main games throughout the week will be the flights for the two Main Events. With two price points, many players can take a shot at the big prizes. The Main Event costs $60 to get in, while the Mini Main Event offers an even more affordable admittance fee of $22 and a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000.
Day 1 flights will be available from April 26 – May 1. Day 2 will kick off on May 1, combining all survivors from the initial flights, and they will play down to the final tables. The final table for the big Main Event will take place on May 2, and the action will be streamed live on the operator’s official Twitch channel.
There will be $150k guaranteed between these two tournaments, and both events are pretty accessible to players across the board. Additionally, the operator’s stream team will give away tickets for both tournaments during their live streams. There will also be giveaways on 888poker’s social media outlets so that many players can get involved for free.
Mystery Action on the Side
As with most poker series, there will also be a few side events to keep the action going between Main Event qualifiers and to keep those who already secured their Day 2 seats busy.

- Apr 28 & 29: $22 MB Event with $10k GTD and $55 MB Event with $15k GTD
- Apr 30: $55 MB Event with $30k GTD and $5.50 MB Event with $8000k GTD
The operator will dish out at least $300,000 in prizes, but the final number will be bigger if the past is any indicator.
