In this exciting format, the officials are billing the event as “OnLive,” Day 1s will be held online on its real-money platform, WPT Global and culminate in a live-only event at the Fronton in Mexico City on May 31.
The event comes for a buy-in of $550 and features $500,000 in guaranteed prize money. Players also have the option to play Day 1 live at the venue on May 30.
Day 1 flights got underway on WPT Global last month and are running every day through May 21. Players can play as many starting flights as they want, as the event utilizes the best stack forward structure. Only the biggest stack will be considered for Day 2.
