PokerStars has revolutionized the way players can secure seats at prestigious events through its innovative step-satellite system, Power Path. This new qualification route has quickly become a favorite among players, offering a low-cost opportunity to win big.
Since its debut in July, the operator has handed out over 600 Silver Passes and 18 Gold Passes, collectively boasting nearly $1.7 million in prize money. Notably, 48 Silver Pass recipients used their passes to gain entry into the record-breaking Estrellas Barcelona Main Event last month. This event made history as the largest-ever tournament hosted by PokerStars, attracting 7398 total entries.
The operator has promised to distribute more passes in the upcoming months, providing ample opportunities for players to get in on the action.

These coveted passes can also be used to redeem in the ongoing WCOOP series. Having kicked off last Sunday, the 22nd edition of PokerStars’ iconic World Championship of Online Poker is in full swing, with the series boasting more than $80 million in guarantees. The series runs through the first week of October, with a total of 340 tournaments on offer.
Three WCOOP Bundles
For the WCOOP series, PokerStars has introduced three ticket bundles, available in both Silver and Gold tiers, offering players various routes to participate in the festival. Before diving into the details of these bundles, let’s briefly explore how Power Path operates.
Power Passes can be won through a four-step qualification process, with buy-ins starting as low as 50 cents. This journey begins with a Step 1 Spin & Go, then progresses through a sit and go and two MTTs. It is important to note that players must win Step 3 to qualify for the final step since there is no direct buy-in option.
Winning the final step allows players to win Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages, which can be converted into tickets and travel bundles to PokerStars’ live and online events. The Bronze Passes are valued at $109, the Silver is worth $2500, and the premium Gold has a value of $10,300.
Once players secure a Power Pass, they can redeem it by visiting the Power Path section in the main lobby and clicking the “Redeem Your Pass” button.
PokerStars is now running special WCOOP edition Step 4 Qualifiers, offering an added value of $5000 in prize money on top of Silver or Gold passes. Step 3 qualifiers, with an $11 buy-in, also include an additional $1000 in value-added tickets.
After claiming a Power Pass, players can choose to exchange it for WCOOP tickets, providing even more ways to engage with this year’s WCOOP events. These bundle tickets are available through the following avenues:
Bronze Pass WCOOP Tickets:
- $109 Ticket to Any WCOOP Event

- $530 WCOOP Ticket — 1x
- $215 WCOOP Ticket — 3x
- $109 WCOOP Ticket — 6x

Power Path stands as one of the most attractive offers for players eager to participate in this year’s WCOOP, as Silver and Gold Passes provide significant ticket value while allowing players to compete against recreational and less experienced opponents along the way.
Furthermore, PokerStars is offering one complimentary Step 1 ticket daily to all players who log in and wager at least 1 cent in rake, effectively granting players a monthly value of $15 in free tickets.
