The World Series of Poker (WSOP) organizers have finally released the specifics for the highly awaited Tournament of Champions (TOC) event.

The WSOP 2024 Tournament of Champions is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, California. It will be held from May 22 to May 24 at The Commerce Casino & Hotel, situated in the heart of Los Angeles.
“For years, the Commerce has been the home of poker in Los Angeles and one of the leading card rooms in the world,” said Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President & Executive Director of the WSOP.
“We look forward to kicking off our new strategic relationship with a special WSOP Circuit finale and the Tournament of Champions bracelet event. We also look forward to qualifying more players from Los Angeles for the WSOP Main Event than ever before,” Steward further added.
Details regarding the WSOP online bracelet series for players in the US is still pending and have not been disclosed yet.

In 2023, the event was held in Las Vegas at the start of the WSOP 2023 series. This year, it precedes the commencement of the WSOP series, starting on May 22nd and spanning three days.
Similar to the previous year, entry to the tournament is free but restricted to individuals who have clinched a gold ring or bracelet from the 2023-2024 WSOP Circuit season up to May 2024. Despite its freeroll nature, the champion of this prestigious event receives not only a significant cash prize but also the esteemed gold bracelet.
As per WSOP’s website, so far over 600 players have qualified for the WSOP 2024 Tournament of Champions, competing for a prize pool of $1 million and this figure could increase. Last year, 960 players qualified, although only 741 ultimately participated.
