The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is in full swing at Resorts World Las Vegas, now entering the festival’s busiest stretch as Day 6 of the ten-day series unfolds.
The series got off to a flying start and NAPT 2024 continues to draw impressive participation, with thousands of players joining the action and setting the stage for a thrilling finish.
The centerpiece of the action, the $5300 NAPT Main Event, boasting a $3 million guarantee has already kicked off with its first starting flight attracting over 275 entries and is nearly halfway to meeting its $3 million guarantee.
Today, two more Day 1 flights are scheduled, with Flight B starting at 11 am and a turbo-format Flight C at 6 pm Late registration will remain open during the early levels of Day 2 for those who miss Day 1 flights, but the last two flights offer the most playtime for entries. A final $600 qualifier for the Main Event is also set for 11 am today.
Last year’s Main Event hit a record 1,095 entries with a lower $1,650 buy-in, building a $1.64 million prize pool. This year, the higher buy-in brings with it an anticipated larger prize pool.
In fact, over 100 players in the Main Event have earned their seats through Gold Pass packages, winning their way in with a minimal investment. As a result, many of these entrants are likely recreational or casual players.
