Just as he did on Sunday, Player of the Year Ben Lamb will be clad in PokerTracker patches when he sits down this evening to play out the WSOP Main Event final table.
Ben Lamb is down to the final three players competing tonight to decide who will win the first prize of over $8m. Alongside promoting the popular analytics software during the event – streamed worldwide on cable and the internet with a 15 minute delay – Lamb will also provide “consulting services” for the upcoming version 4 of PokerTracker, “to assure that the online poker software tool meets the standards required by poker players.”
“Ben Lamb will not only be representing the PokerTracker brand, he will also play an instrumental role in helping us fine tune the soon to be released PokerTracker 4 for online poker players across the globe,” said Steven McLoughlin, PokerTracker CEO.
Originally slated for a late 2011 launch, the release date has now been pushed back to Q1 of 2012. Meanwhile, primary competitor Hold’em Manager released its next-generator tracker HM2 just last week.
