Over €35 million is up for grabs in the Southern European segregated market thanks to the three big festivals, all lined up to run next month for players in France, Portugal and Spain.
PokerStars has unveiled its traditional Galactic Series, a September staple in Europe, this time returning with €10 million in guaranteed prize money. Partypoker has scheduled its low-stakes Monster Series XL which will run at the end of this month and into September guaranteeing over €2 million.
These two series will go head-to-head with the leader of the pack, Winamax, with its next Series guaranteeing €23 million, the largest in the market to date.
888Poker has yet to announce a tournament series for the month of September though it did recently run the ChampionChip series in the region.
