PokerStars US has revealed the details of the upcoming USA Spring Championship of Online Poker (USA SCOOP), announcing the largest prize pool in series history. Kicking off on March 17 and taking place on both the PokerStars PA and the combined PokerStars MI and NJ network, the 2023 US SCOOP will feature $5,000,000 in guarantees across 252 tournaments.
The series will run for several weeks, reaching its climax on April 3. As previously revealed, players in PA will compete for $2,000,000 while the shared liquidity New Jersey/Michigan pool will have a shot at a total of $3,000,000 in guarantees.
As always, casual and high-rollers alike will have a chance to join the action, with buy-ins starting as low as $10 and going all the way up to $2500 for high roller events. There is also a plethora of online satellites running around the clock, allowing players to win their SCOOP 2023 tickets for as little as $1.

SCOOP 2023 US Highlights
A rich tournament schedule has been designed to cater to all players. According to Severing Rasset, the PokerStars US Managing Director, there was a considered effort to provide players with the best possible online poker experience.
“We’re thrilled to announce our largest series guarantee ever to players in the US,” said Rasset. “We’ve made a concerted effort to ensure that this series is accessible to all players, by curating an inclusive schedule with a wide range of buy-ins. Our aim is to provide everyone with the opportunity to compete for a coveted SCOOP trophy.”
USASCOOP 2023 comes with the familiar three-orbit system, with identical events running across three different buy-in levels: Low, Medium, and High. The number of events on each network is 126, with 41 unique tournaments featuring different buy-in levels.
There are also three Main Events on both sites, taking place on April 3:
- $300 Main Event (two-day event): $300k GTD in MI — NJ and $200k GTD in PA
- $50 Mini Main Event: $50k GTD in SL and $35k GTD in PA
- $2500 High Roller Main Event: $125k GTD in MI — NJ and $100k GTD in PA
Beyond this, players will have a chance to try their skills at many Hold’em tournaments and a variety of non-Hold’em events, featuring games like PLO, PLO8, Razz, 2-7 Triple Draw, and more. Of course, the popular PKO format will be represented as well.
There will also be Casino Races per State, with 90 trophies up for grabs on every level.
Satellites Running Around the Clock
Like every time, players on both the PokerStars PA and PokerStars US app will have ample opportunity to win their SCOOP seats for a fraction of a buy-in. There are several hundred satellites planned with the entry of just $1, alongside the Depositor’s Freeroll satellite taking place on April 2.
For the fans of Spin & Go games, PokerStars PA and PokerStars MI — NJ will be hosting special $3 Spin & Go events where the top prize will be an entry into the $300 Main Event.
