The operator has yet to make an official statement concerning the issue. A spokesperson declined to comment to PRO.
A few weeks ago, GGPoker deployed a significant increase in the rake caps across high-stakes games without prior warning. This substantially increased the price of playing at these tables. The change occurred on March 31, PRO understands, at No-Limit Hold 'em “VIP Games” with $25/$50 stakes and above. While the rake percentage remains at 5%, the operator has doubled the rake cap.
