PokerStars has slightly adjusted the payout structure of its uber-popular Spin & Go game, aiming to create a more balanced experience by making the payouts less top-heavy.

The new payout structure has been implemented in the operator’s Southern European segregated networks, spanning France, Portugal, and Spain, as well as in the ring-fenced Italian network.

Spin & Go games, characterized by their lottery-style sit and go format (LSNG), randomly assign prizes at the start of each tournament. Often the top prize is just two times the buy-in, which occurs nearly half the time. Payouts go up to four times, six times, ten times, and even a thousand times the buy-in — at increasingly lower frequencies.
