Some buy-ins are too big, and others are too small, but Midstakes Madness from PokerStars will have seven days of poker games priced “just right” in the middle. Starting August 6, Pokerstars has 61 games on the schedule priced between $11 and $215.
There is almost $6 million guaranteed across the week-long series, with two games featuring $1 million guarantees and 19 that guarantee $100k or more. Both million-dollar games are rebranded versions of the Sunday Million — PokerStars’ premier Sunday game — on the opening and closing days of the series, with the final Sunday Million on August 13 as the Main Event for this series.
Those two Sunday Million games represent some pretty serious value, with $9,175 guaranteed for every $1 of buy-in (rake included). They are the best value games of the whole series by that measure, but for players on the lower end of the mid-stakes range, there are two $11 events that come very close in value.

High-Value MIdstakes Games
The Sunday Million games on the opening and closing days are the best value games of the series, but that is hardly a surprise as the Sunday Million is the best weekly value on PokerStars. Some other special games for this series come close to the Sunday Million’s epic value.
With the fees included, the Sunday Million events come in at $9,174.31 in guarantee for every dollar of buy-in, but they are not the only value to be found on the opening and closing days of the festival. There are also two $11 tournaments that bracket the series, and both guarantee $100k for $9,090.91 in value.
The opening day value continues with the $22 PKO game, with $100k guaranteed for $4,545.45 in value to round out the top five high-value games.
