The 2023 WSOP Online for international players is almost here. One of the biggest online festivals of the year will kick off at GGPoker on August 20, and players around the world will have 33 individual shots to win coveted gold bracelets from the comfort of their homes.
Winning a WSOP bracelet is a dream for many players out there, from hardcore pros to recreationals who would love to get their hands on this prestigious piece of poker hardware.
Reaching that dream usually requires a substantial bankroll, as bracelet events tend to have hefty buy-ins, but there are exceptions to every rule. This year’s WSOP online schedule features several affordable events that almost anyone can get involved with and have their shot at golden glory. These are our top picks for must-play tournaments that will not cost you an arm and a leg.

Event #1 – $108 Bankroll Builder (August 20)
The very first event of the WSOP Online 2023 is also the most affordable shot you will have at a bracelet this year. Priced at just $108, the tournament is dubbed “Bankroll Builder,” and it is a great way to get your online grind started.
Due to a small buy-in, the event will likely attract a fair few entries, so a deep run will provide you with a nice bankroll boost to take a few more shots and perhaps play in other cheap bracelet events.
If you have a limited budget and would love to try your hand at winning a bracelet, this is your best bet. It is an affordable tournament that is bound to attract a good number of recreational players, so the field should not be too tough.
Event #7 – $210 Mystery Millions
With starting days scattered throughout the series, the $210 Mystery Millions event will see its conclusion on August 28. This is when all survivors from different Day 1 flights will come together to play down to the winner.
This one may not be easy to win, as multiple starting flights and a massive $10,000,000 guarantee mean that the field will be huge. On the other hand, the top bounty is set at $1,000,000, and anyone can get lucky and pick it up, which is, arguably, more exciting than winning a bracelet.
For a couple hundred bucks, this tournament offers all we could ask for — huge prize pool, big mystery bounties, and one shiny bracelet waiting for the eventual winner.
Event #11 — $100 FLIP & GO
The $100 FLIP & GO tournament is the cheapest bracelet event on the WSOP 2023 online schedule, and it features a $1,000,000 guarantee, so it definitely belongs on this list.
However, unlike the rest of them, this one can actually get quite expensive. During the ‘flip’ stage, things will be out of your control, and you are just relying on the luck to get through to the final, ‘go’ stage. This is where real poker begins.
That said, if you want to throw in a buy-in or two at it to see if you can get lucky, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Just try not to get carried away and throw your entire bankroll into it, as you are much better off using that money to enter other events.
Event #9 – $315 Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (August 31)
If you only have a limited time and cannot plan things too far ahead, this single-day event is a great pick. Priced at $315, it offers an excellent shot at a bracelet without forcing you to break the bank.
It is a bounty tournament, so you can expect to get some money back for eliminating players even if you don’t make the money, which is an important factor if your bankroll is limited. The money you get back can go toward one of the other cheap events on the docket.
- Or get up to $100 worth of rewards
- Available in many regulated markets
- Great MTT schedule including WSOP events
Event #22 – $400 Colossus
Another event featuring multiple Day 1 flights, the $400 Colossus will see its culmination on September 18. GGPoker is clearly expecting a big turnout for this one, as the operator has set the guarantee at a massive $3,000,000.
You will have to navigate a big field and avoid quite a few landmines along the way to make a deep run in this one, but it is definitely worth a shot. For a fairly small buy-in, the winner will get a lion’s share of the prize pool and, of course, a bracelet to remind them of their big moment.
