A PLO Leaderboard for Everyone
As mentioned, these daily PLO leaderboards have been organized in a way where all players can benefit from them. Whether you play the smallest of stakes or compete at high levels, there is extra money up for grabs every single day.
- Micro Leaderboard: games in the ‘Micro’ tab ($0.02/0.05 – $0.20/0.50) – $400 in daily prizes
- Low Leaderboard: games in the ‘Low’ tab ($0.50/1 – $1/2) – $1,200 in daily prizes
- Mid Leaderboard: tables in the ‘Mid’ tab ($2/4 – $5/10) – $2,400 in daily prizes
All PLO and PLO5 games count towards the promotion, and you can compete in one, two, or all three leaderboards simultaneously. You earn points towards respective leaderboards based on the stakes.
When it comes to accumulating points, the formula is fairly simple. The total number of raked hands played contributes 50% to the points total, while the value of those hands accounts for the remaining 50%. Daily leaderboards are updated on the site once every 15 minutes, so you can easily keep track of your progress.
Incentivizing Players to Grind Harder
While these leaderboards are a valuable addition as they are, WPT Global came up with a way to incentivize players to play as much as possible and directly influence the value of their play with the ‘Bump It Up’ promo.
Namely, for every 50,000 extra PLO hands after the first 100,000, the operator is adding $1,000 per day. For this part of the promo, all PLO hands across all qualifying games are counted, so if 150,000 hands are played, the daily prize pool goes up to $5,000; for 200,000 hands, it increases to $6,000, etc.
This gives all players a reason to put in some extra hours and play as much as they can. It’s an interesting twist that gives a fair bit of power to the community, giving them a chance to turn their common efforts into actual cash.
On top of this, there is also the Happy Hour period during each day, running from 20:00 UTC — 00:59 UTC. A 1.5x multiplier is applied to all points generated during this period, which makes it the best time to put in your hours at the tables.
