A few days back, WPT Global announced the first of its four major online series planned for 2024, the Spring Festival. In the original announcement, the operator revealed the details about a few marquee tournaments, with the full schedule to follow.
Now, that schedule is out in its entirety, and even a quick glance makes it clear that the Spring Festival brings something for all types of players. Buy-ins start as low as $5.50, accommodating those with smaller bankrolls. On the other side of the spectrum is the $3,500 WPT Championship event, awarding an actual WPT Championship title.
The Spring Festival kicked off on May 5 at WPT Global and it will last for full three weeks. There are $7,000,000 in guaranteed prizes up for grabs spread across 315 individual events, with at least a dozen tournaments taking place every single day.

Big Money on Offer
Although the Spring Festival features over 300 tournaments, a few of them will steal the show, as is the case with most series. In addition to the $220 Festival Championship and $22 Mini Festival Championship, offering $500,000 and $150,000 in guaranteed prizes, respectively, the series will several WPT-branded events.
The first of these is the WPT500, with a buy-in of $530 and a guarantee of $400,000. The $1,060 WPT Prime event comes with a promise of $750,000, while the $3,500 WPT Championship tournament guarantees a cool million.
These four events will account for over a third of the entire guaranteed prize pool for the Spring Festival. This still leaves plenty of money to be split across the remaining 311 tournaments, with the average prize pool outside of the big four just shy of $15,000.
