Win Your Gold Pass at Maryland State Poker Championship
The Maryland State Poker Championship will be running for 13 days starting July 31 at the Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland, with a variety of low-to-mid stakes events running in the period and over $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize money set to be paid out.
The series will culminate in a $2,200 Main Event, while a variety of other tournaments with buyins between $400 and $1,650 will make the festival worth a visit for poker pros and recreational players alike.
While the Championship itself will be an exciting affair, the additional opportunities to win a Gold Pass and a seat in the 2024 NAPT Las Vegas event will make a few of the tournaments on the schedule that much more appealing to enter.
The following events will offer extra opportunities to win a PokerStars Gold Pass:
- 600 NLH Multi Flight
- 400 6-Max Championship
- 2,200 Main Event
The $600 NLH Multi Flight event, which runs from July 31 to August 4, will award a Gold Pass to the last online qualifier in the field.
If you win your way to the Maryland State Poker Championship via any of the online qualifying paths, you will have a chance to win a free Gold Pass simply for outlasting the other online qualifiers in this $600 event.
The $400 6-Max Championship will award valuable mystery bounty prizes to all players who knock out a PokerStars Ambassador from play. One of those prizes will be a Gold Pass worth $10,000.
Finally, the champion of the $2,200 MSPC Main Event will win a PokerStars Gold Pass outright, adding even more value to the biggest event of the series.
That makes for three different PokerStars MSPC events you will definitely not want to miss out on, as each offers an opportunity to play poker in Las Vegas this winter.
What Can I Win?
A PokerStars Gold Pass will be given away in three different MSPC events this August, but you may be wondering what exactly the Gold Pass is and how much it’s worth.
Players who are lucky enough to win a Gold Pass will get a truly free ride for this year’s NAPT event in Las Vegas, as the Pass includes:
- 5,300 NAPT Main Event entry
- 1,800 in Cash
- 7 Nights at Resorts World Las Vegas
The package is worth $10,000 and will give you a chance to play the $5,300 NAPT Main Event for free, while also covering all your travel costs.
The $1,800 in cash is meant to cover any travel costs you may have, including your plane ticket, while your accommodations at the Resorts World Las Vegas, the venue of the tournament, will be prepaid by PokerStars for November 4-11.
The event itself runs from November 5-10, so you will have plenty of time to settle into the venue before kickoff and to celebrate your result on the final day of the event.
Path to NAPT Is Still Running
The Path to NAPT promotion has been running at PokerStars online clients for some time, giving players an opportunity to win their way to NAPT Las Vegas.
Nine players have completed the Path so far, securing their NAPT Gold Passes, while additional seats have been given away in meetup games with PokerStars Ambassadors Spraggy and TonkaaaP at Resorts World Las Vegas.
There are still opportunities to win your Gold Passes online via the Path to NAPT satellites, while players who have acquired a Silver Pass have a chance to convert it to an MSPC package that includes entry to the $600 NLH event and $400 in travel cash.
If you already have a PokerStars Silver Pass, consider using it at the upcoming MSPC to look for extra value in the form of added Gold Pass, or keep playing the online satellites and win your Gold Pass from the comfort of your home.
