The 2024 PokerStars WCOOP started on September 8 and is now entering its final stages, with some of the biggest events of the series still ahead of us, including the three WCOOP Main Events on Sunday, September 29.
The Main Events will payout at least $11 million in prize money, a significant chunk of the $80 million guarantee that the entire series boasted, and will all play out over four days of exciting poker action, with many of the world’s best poker players getting in the mix.
The following weekend will be one of the most action-packed weekends for online players this year, with the eyes of the poker world firmly fixed on PokerStars and the search for the next WCOOP champions.

A Main Event for Every Bankroll
The WCOOP schedule is known as one of the most versatile and accommodating of any tournament series, and it’s no different when it comes to the Main Event.
Much like previous years, PokerStars is throwing three separate Main Events across the three buy-in orbits:
- WCOOP 108-L: $109 NLHE Main Event – $2.5 Million Guaranteed
- WCOOP 108-M: $1,050 NLHE Main Event – $3.5 Million Guaranteed
- WCOOP 108-H: $10,300 NLHE Main Event – $5 Million Guaranteed
All three Main Events start at 06:30 pm CET and feature a slow and steady structure with 20+ minute blind levels and 250 big blinds to start.
The events are expected to feature massive fields and will take a total of four days to finish, with the final table of each event playing out on Wednesday, October 2.
Unlike many pinnacle events in the modern online tournament series, the WCOOP Main Events will feature a classic No Limit Hold’em structure with no knockout prizes of any sort, while each player will be allowed to re-enter each event up to five times.
Still Time to Win Your Seats
Over the next couple of days, PokerStars will be running a record number of satellite tournaments for the WCOOP Main Events, making it your ideal opportunity to get a seat in the event of your choice.
Whether you are looking to play the $109, $1,050, or the $10,300 version of the event, there are multiple different routes you can take to get your seats.
The most affordable satellites are available for the $109 Main Event, with $5.50, $11, and $22 direct satellites on the schedule, all with guaranteed seats directly into the tournament.
You can qualify for the $1,050 Main Event for as low as $22, while $55 and $109 satellites are also scheduled, all offering direct Main Event seats.
Finally, the $10,300 Main Event offers satellite options at $530 and $1,050 entry points, with plenty of feeder qualifiers you can jump into if you are working with a limited bankroll.
Overall, several hundred seats into the three WCOOP Main Events are still up for grabs, and you can head over to the tournament lobby and PokerStars and join the action at any time throughout the weekend.
WCOOP League Is Heating Up
The inaugural WCOOP League is also entering its final stages, as fewer and fewer events are left to play out, and Team Peace&Loove is firmly in the lead, with almost 1,000 points ahead of Team 'Tonkaaaa’.
Despite winning four WCOOP titles this year, Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot and his team are still trailing behind Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber, whose team has benefited greatly from the incredible performances of “FAL1st,” who has also won four titles and made multiple final tables at this year’s series.
A number of other highly regarded poker professionals such as Adrian Mateos, Yuri Dzivilievski, Niklas Astedt, and Lex Veldhuis have also gotten their names on the scoreboard, but Huber’s team continues steamrolling everyone, promising all the players who placed bets on them in the PokerStars Sportsbook a chance to win a $10,300 Power Path Gold Pass and other valuable prizes.
Stay tuned over the coming days, as teams make the final push for WCOOP League points and Main Event standings possibly have a significant impact on the overall outcome of the entire competition.
