WSOP Online Confirms PA Shared Liquidity Launch is Imminent WSOP Online Confirms PA Shared Liquidity Launch is Imminent

WSOP Online has officially confirmed what many in the US online poker community have long anticipated: WSOP Pennsylvania will soon join its shared liquidity network, connecting with players in New Jersey, Nevada, and Michigan.

The confirmation came via an email sent to WSOP players on Friday morning, just days after Governor Josh Shapiro signed Pennsylvania into the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), making it the sixth state to join.

Although the email doesn’t specify an official go-live date for PA shared liquidity, a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) spokesperson confirmed that WSOP will merge its Pennsylvania player pool on April 28, the same day BetMGM Poker is scheduled to launch tri-state shared liquidity. This update was shared by a user named “james.t” on the PA Poker Discord server.

Earlier this week, BetMGM Poker confirmed its April 28 go-live date, coinciding with Pennsylvania’s official entry into the interstate compact. Now, WSOP has also been confirmed to launch on the same day.

This launch will mark a historic milestone—the debut of the first-ever four-state shared online poker network in the United States.

“We can’t wait to welcome PA players to our WSOP Online shared player pool network,” the operator wrote in the email. “This will create more action, bigger tournament prize pools, and more players to WSOP Online.”

“For the first time in regulated U.S. online poker history, players from Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania will get to compete against each other.”

WSOP PA Shared Liquidity Push Notification

WSOP has been sending push notifications and encouraging players to keep an eye on their inboxes for further updates.

Interestingly, the operator stated in the email that there will be no client downtime during the transition, players will be able to log in as usual on launch day using their existing WSOP Online credentials.

Online Bracelet Schedule Announcement Coming Soon

The email also teases an announcement for this summer’s WSOP Online Bracelet series, set to take place around the same time as WSOP 2025 live series, and also confirms a revamped tournament schedule for WSOP Online.

“We also have some exciting news about our WSOP Online Bracelet events for the summer and a revamped tournament schedule.”

Historically, WSOP has run separate bracelet schedules, with Nevada and New Jersey sharing one, Michigan joining in last year, and Pennsylvania operating independently. With PA now joining the shared liquidity network, WSOP will be running a unified online bracelet series across all four states for the first time.

The WSOP 2025 live summer series in Las Vegas kicks off at the end of May, which means the online bracelet series is likely to begin around the same time, possibly starting from May 31 and wrapping up on July 15.

Last year, there were 30 online bracelet events in the shared network and seven in PA. Now with all four states under the same network, expect the operator to host a single series with likely 30 events but bigger guarantees and prize pools.

BetMGM Poker Nevada Launch?

With at least two operators confirming their entry into the shared liquidity market in Pennsylvania: BetMGM Poker and WSOP Online with a scheduled launch on April 28, let’s take a look at the bigger picture.

While BetMGM’s shared network will span three states, WSOP has the edge of being the only operator live with online poker in Nevada, giving it access to a four-state network. But that could change soon.

BetMGM has long been rumored to launch online poker in Nevada, and this might finally be the year it happens. If it does, BetMGM will expand its shared liquidity network to four states, putting it on an equal footing with WSOP.

Adding weight to this possibility is the fact that BetMGM did not apply for a new waiver in Nevada on April 24, the same day its previous waiver expired. This move likely signals the company’s intention to activate its interactive gaming license at some point this year, possibly as soon as summer, and finally launch BetMGM Poker in the Silver State.

There is still a chance they will delay the rollout, as they have done before. But without a new waiver or a launch, their license could lapse, putting more than a decade of effort at risk.

What About PokerStars & BetRivers Poker?

The only operator yet to make an announcement regarding Pennsylvania’s entry into shared liquidity is PokerStars, which currently runs a combined New Jersey–Michigan network alongside a standalone operation in Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, BetRivers Poker, currently live only in Pennsylvania, would first need to expand into other MSIGA member states before launching the shared liquidity framework. Pokerfuse understands that BetRivers is actively preparing launches in New Jersey, Michigan, Delaware, and even West Virginia. If those launches go ahead, BetRivers could eventually operate the country’s first five-state online poker network.
