To qualify for the promotion, players must register and bet at least $500 on cash games during a single day between January 15 and January 31. Those who succeed will receive 80% rakeback on all cash games they play on the site until the promotion ends at the end of April.
Figures from PokerScout show that the poker room has peak traffic of around 290 players with an average of 100 seats filled at the cash tables.
The PartyPoker/Borgata network has established an early market lead with around 45% of cash game traffic, helped by their “New Jersey’s Next Poker Millionaire” promotion. It is no surprise that the other operators are responding, and overall, New Jersey traffic in January should be substantially higher than it was in December.
