- Voting still open for “greatest ever poker hand.”
- Players who get dealt any of the winning hands at Zoom tables can claim prizes of 100bb of the stake they were playing.
Zoom cash poker players who thought they had missed out are getting their own promotion to celebrate the PokerStars 100 billionth hand due this month.
Part one of the promotion involves voting for PokerStars’ “Greatest Ever Poker Hand.” The candidate hands are up on YouTube.
After the player votes, a judging panel made up of Team PokerStars Pros Daniel Negreanu, Liv Boeree and Lex Veldhuis as well as a separate “critics” vote will determine which of the top three hands will be used for “Zoom and Boom!”
Part two is where the prizes come in. If you win a pot with exactly the same hand while playing Texas No Limit Hold’em at a Zoom table, and then post it on the PokerStars Boom! Replayer, you will receive a cash prize of 100 big blinds at the stake the hand was played.
The first “Zoom and Boom!” promotion ran in October last year. The key dates this month: Player voting for the greatest hand ends June 10; cash prizes are available from June 24 to June 30.
$5 million dollars is going to be given away in prize money throughout June in celebration of 100 billion hands dealt on PokerStars. The hand is expected to be dealt at the end of the month.
Along with the traditional milestone hands, there are “golden SNGs,” another world-record breaking tournament attempt, a $1 million freeroll, and a $1 million Zoom tournament.
