The Garden City Group has announced that the first batch of payments to reimburse US victims of Full Tilt Poker will be made by the end of February.
A report that the Department of Justice had approved $82 million in repayments was released earlier this week by the Poker Players Alliance. That figure was confirmed by the GCG to represent 30,000 petitions that had been filed by former players.
More information concerning the pending ACH payments is expected from the GCG in the next 2-3 weeks. It is not clear if within that timeframe more information will be released about the status of, pros, affiliates, disputed claims or those that missed filing their petitions before the original deadline.
The GCG continues to encourage those that believe they have a valid claim to file a petition for reimbursement on their website.
