Players on True Poker, the flagship poker room for the Yatahay Network, are reporting payment interruptions in multiple threads on 2+2. Since the time these reports started appearing, the representative for True Poker that addresses players’ issues on 2+2 has yet to respond.
Though the delay for rakeback is only a few days, there are reports of ACH payments being weeks overdue.
Players are being told by support representatives that rakeback payments have been delayed due to integration problems with the recent roll out of the new software on the Yatahay Network. In an email obtained by pokerfuse, support representatives are stating that “rakeback will be paid within the day, we apologize for the delay.”
With regards to the delayed ACH payments, True Poker Support confirmed:
The ACH/EFT payment method is no longer available in our site as per Management decision, but we still offer Visa, Moneygram/Western Union and Visa Gift Card for deposits and Paper Check and Moneygram for payouts.
According to one post, the support team is helping players convert their delayed ACH payments into paper checks that are being delivered via FedEx.
Along with that roll-out of new software, True Poker also changed the way they calculate rake from the dealt rakeback method to weighted contributed. This caused many complaints because there was reportedly no notice given to the players prior to the change.
The lack of communication on the part of True Poker along with payment delays are cause for concern in the current online poker climate. Two of the three sites impacted by the US government actions on “Black Friday” have avoided detailed communications and have not returned funds to US account holders.
