A new feature on PokerStars allows users who have requested a reset of their PokerStars PIN or a one time password for their RSA security token to receive security information via text message.
By registering and validating a mobile phone number, users will avoid having sensitive security information delivered via email. Adding this feature reduces a user’s risk exposure should their email account become compromised.
The new feature is accessible under the Account Menu in the PokerStars client but is currently only available in select regions.
