Approximately 2,200 payments totaling about $5 million were distributed to US victims of Full Tilt Poker on Tuesday in the second round of payments since the process began on February 28, 2014.
Players receiving money this round were those previously approved for payment, but had incorrect banking information on file with the GCG. Players that responded to the notification by March 13 with the required corrections will have received their money in this wave.
Those players that were approved for first round payments but failed to update their banking information by the deadline will be mailed checks to the address on file with the GCG.
No date has been announced for the reimbursement of those players considered to be affiliates and no determination has been made on whether players considered to be site pros will be eligible for remission. An announcement regarding both of these groups of players is expected soon.
The first round of payments consisted of $76 million that was distributed to over 27,500 online poker players in the US.
