The first-ever WSOP Circuit Series under the rebranded name at the Horseshoe Las Vegas is nearly wrapping up.
The WSOP US real money tournament series kicked off on February 9, featuring 18 Ring events, including a $1700 Main Event, guaranteeing half a million. To end on a high note, the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Las Vegas will culminate in a $400 Mega Satellite on Thursday, February 23, allowing players to win seats to the crown jewel of the WSOP 2023 schedule, the Main Event.
“If you have dreamed of playing in “The Big Game,” this satellite is the tournament for you,” the operator states in a blog post.

Before the start of the series, the officials anticipated a strong turnout as they get to try the newly rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally’s), the same venue which will host the upcoming 54th outing of the World Series of Poker.
And they have not been disappointed. The Circuit Series started strongly, exceeding WSOP’s expectations. So far, eleven ring events have concluded, with the kickoff event attracting 401 entrants, generating $132,330 in prize money.
Event #2, a $600 buy-in Big 30k Deep Stack, drew 346 runners for a total prize pool of $178,190, while Event #6, a $600 buy-in Seniors Event, saw a field size of 268 amassing $138,020. The $400 buy-in Mixed event HORSE also had a decent crowd, gathering 24 entrants for a final prize pool of $81,510.
The $1125 buy-in Mystery Event kicked off over the weekend, with the third and final flight scheduled today.
But the numbers are in for the $1700 Main Event boasting a $500,000 guarantee, and unsurprisingly, it has been the star performer of the series so far. Across its three Day 1 flights, the tournament saw 833 entrants register to crush its guarantee and produce a prize pool of over $1.2 million.
Across the series, more than $2 million in prize money has already been generated. Half a dozen more ring events remain on the schedule, including a $3000 No-Limit Hold 'em High Roller on February 22 and a $250 No-Limit Hold 'em for those with tight bankrolls.
All the winners of the gold ring events will qualify for the invitation-only Tournament of Champions. The special freeroll guarantees $1 million, and the event will be held during the WSOP 2023 summer series in Las Vegas. All 2023 online Circuit winners will also be eligible to compete in the coveted event.

Win a Chance to Play at the $10,000 WSOP Main Event
If you’re in Las Vegas or planning to go there this week, you should not miss out on the chance to secure a seat at poker’s richest tournament in history.
The $10,000 WSOP Main Event No-Limit Hold 'em World Championship takes place from July 3 at the same venue. For the 54th edition, organizers are doing everything they can to set a new record for the biggest Main in its 53-year-long history.
Much of the effort will come from GGPoker, its exclusive international partner, who has committed to give away over 600 seats to the Main Event. WSOP will also be running a world-first Main Event Maynia, an unprecedented synchronized, five-continent effort to send another 100 players through live qualification routes over a single weekend.
For the online players that play on the WSOP real money platform, there will be 112 seats given away through the online satellite campaign Seat Sprint. From June 25 to July 8, over 100 seats will be guaranteed on the WSOP US platform, with 10 seats guaranteed daily in satellites.
