WSOP 2024 Has A Lot To Live Up Too
2023 was the biggest World Series of Poker ever. It exceeded turnout and prize pools across the board, generating over $425.2 million over its online and live events, up from over $346.3 million in 2022. The WSOP also welcomed more players than ever before — 250K players made up the 2023 series, up from 198,429 in 2022.
With that in mind the WSOP 2024 outing has a lot to live up too. The operator will no doubtdspent the months of January through to May running live and online qualifiers to the WSOP — on WSOP USA for those in PA, MI, NJ and NV; on the GGPoker Ontario app; and internationally on GGPoker.com.
Hopefully, software updates will come to New Jersey and Nevada by the summer, and that Michigan will have joined the NJ/NV shared WSOP network. We estimate there will be around 95 to 100 live bracelets to be won and 6 to 7 online bracelets in Pennsylvania and Michigan respectively if they remain segregated.
During December, players in Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan have a chance to secure a $10,000 2024 WSOP Main Event seat via freerolls on WSOP.com. Players simply need to make a deposit between December 1 and December 26, utilizing the promo code 24WSOP.
The freeroll takes place on December 28, and the freeroll winner will be awarded $10,000 in buy-ins for the 2024 WSOP.
