Full WSOP 2024 Schedule Is Just Around the Corner! Full WSOP 2024 Schedule Is Just Around the Corner!

If you’ve been anxiously waiting for the WSOP 2024 schedule, it seems that the wait is about to end. A recent tweet from the official World Series of Poker account hinted that the full schedule is about to be released, and we fully expect this to happen before the end of the month.

So far, we’ve been teased with a small taste of what we’ll see at Paris and Horseshoe this summer, as WSOP released dates for the Main Event and confirmed a couple of major tournaments, including the Millionaire Maker and the Seniors Event.

Although we’ll likely have all the information soon, and there’ll be no need for guesswork, it’s always fun to speculate on what to expect from poker’s largest competition, so we’ll do some speculating in this article.

How Many Bracelets in 2024?

So far, we’ve seen the number of bracelet events increase every year. In fact, the number of WSOP tournaments has almost doubled over the past decade. In 2013, there were 62 events held at the Rio, while the 2023 World Series saw 115 bracelet-awarding tournaments (including online events).

This strategy has clearly worked well for the organizer, as the most recent Series broke attendance records left and right, including the long-standing Main Event record.

With all that in mind, it’s safe to assume that 2024 will have a few more events on the docket. We’ll probably see at least five extra tournaments added to the live schedule, although that number could be higher. As for the WSOP online, it remains to be seen what operators’ plans are in that department.

In any case, we’re pretty much guaranteed to see an even more comprehensive schedule than the one from 2023, and Paris and Horseshoe will once again be filled with players on a hunt for big prizes and a small piece of poker history.

Major Events on the 2024 WSOP Schedule

As mentioned, we already know the dates for the Main Event, which will run July 3 — 17, 2024. Three additional events have been confirmed as returning, namely:

  • Mystery Millions
  • Millionaire Maker
  • Seniors Championship

Beyond this, we have no official information about the 2024 WSOP schedule as of yet, but a few other tournaments are very likely to return.

We know that every Series begins with the Casino Employees Event so that one is guaranteed. The Gladiators of Poker (or another similar super-cheap event) will likely be on the schedule as well since the one in 2023 attracted over 23,000 entries and awarded half a million to the winner.

The $1,500 Monster Stack and $400 Colossus will likely be in the mix as well, alongside all the usual championships and other events that have been a part of the WSOP schedule for years.

Given the popularity of the Mystery Bounty tournament format, it is quite likely the organizer will add a few more games featuring this format alongside the Mystery Millions event.

Freeroll Qualifiers to the Main Event Around the Corner

Even though the 2024 World Series of Poker is quite a bit away, things are starting to heat up. The full schedule will be dropping any day, while WSOP US will be hosting freeroll satellites to the Main Event on January 31.

These will be running on WSOP.com platforms in all four states, and all you have to do to get involved is make a deposit by January 29.

The new year may have only just started, but it’s never too early to start the hype for the World Series of Poker. We’ll make sure to keep you up to date the moment the 2024 WSOP schedule is out so you can start all the necessary preparations for another epic poker summer in Las Vegas.
