WSOP+ App to Debut at the 2025 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas WSOP+ App to Debut at the 2025 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas

With this year’s World Series of Poker having just finished, the information about WSOP 2025 is scarce. There are very few details about what to expect during the summer in Las Vegas next year, but there will be one small but important detail that many players will be happy about.

Namely, the WSOP+ app will be available for the summer series for the first time since it was launched in 2023, pokerfuse understands.

The app, which is designed to streamline and enhance the live tournament experience, made its debut at the inaugural Bahamas event and it will be available at the 2024 WSOP Paradise as well.

It seems that the organizers wanted to give the app a bit of a test run before bringing it to the main stage. That has been no official statement from organizers, but pokerfuse understands that WSOP+ will make its United States debut in Nevada next year.

The timing could hardly be better, as we expect the 2025 WSOP to feature over 100 bracelet events.

What to Expect from the WSOP+ App?

Details about all the features that WSOP+ app will bring for the summer series are still scarce. What we know is that the app will feature a full schedule of events and it will provide critical updates about running tournaments, including the number of remaining players and tournament clocks in real time.

This type of information will certainly be of great help to the players, allowing them to better plan their stay, especially when it comes to late registering for tournaments. With the help of the WSOP+ app, you’ll no longer have to guess about how much time you have, when the dinner break starts, etc.

In the Bahamas, WSOP+ also allowed players to transfer funds and register for the events through the app. The app supported payment options like wire transfer, LuxonPay, NPay, and transfers from the GGPoker account.

Whether or not this feature will be available for the 2025 WSOP in Las Vegas remains to be seen. Of course, the selection of payment options (apart from wire transfers) will be quite different in the US, but the organizer will probably try their best to streamline the process and enable this option if it is technically possible.

Another Step in the Right Direction

The World Series of Poker has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, breaking attendance and prize pool records several years in a row. This shows that the players’ love for live poker is as great as ever, and the WSOP stands out as the most recognizable brand in the live tournament space.

With all this, adding the WSOP+ app to the mix and providing players with another tool to make their stay as pleasant and as enjoyable as possible is certainly a big step in the right direction.

Depending on what features are made available, the app could significantly cut down on registration times and give players much more freedom to enjoy their time away from the tables and use it for other fun activities.

We’ll keep an eye out for any news regarding plans for the WSOP+ app rollout for the Las Vegas summer and bring you all the information as it becomes available. The app can already be downloaded for Android and iOS devices, but right now, there is nothing about upcoming events, only historical information about the 2023 WSOP Bahamas.
