For the third time now, GGPoker has announced the launch of a WSOP Winter Online Circuit, with the Series schedule to launch on December 12 and run well into the new year.
Like the previous version of the Series, the WSOP Winter Online Circuit will feature $100 million in total guaranteed prize pools, spanning over hundreds of individual events across all stakes and game types.
Of those hundreds of events, GGPoker 18 will be awarding WSOPC Rings, including the massive $525 buyin, $5 million guaranteed prize pool Main Event. Each of the 18 Ring events will feature a minimum of $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, and millions in prizes will be given out in these tournaments alone.
- TOP BONUS — $600 deposit matched or up to $100 in rewards
- TOP FOR MTTs — GGMasters freezeout guarantees $2.5 million a week
- TRUSTED Holds a License from the UK Gambling Commission and the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. Available in many countries in Europe, South America, and Asia
Players will also have a chance to participate in a full schedule of poker tournaments alongside the Ring events each day, with dozens of events on the schedule every day, many of which are a standard part of GGPoker’s daily tournament schedule.
The winners of the 18 Gold Rings at this WSOP Winter Online Circuit will all get invites to a $1 million freeroll which will happen in Las Vegas on a yet to be determined date. The event will get together all Ring winners from the 2021/22 season and a million bucks will be up for grabs.
Like before, the WSOP Winter Online Circuit is bringing back the $100,000 Series Leaderboard as well, which will award to top 100 players who achieve the best results in both the Ring and side events.
WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Highlights
When it comes to the 18 Gold Ring events that will happen during the WSOP Winter Online Circuit, the buyins for these will be ranging from $50 to $10,300, but the majority of all events will have a mid-stakes tag on them, with several hundred dollar buyin fees.
The first Ring of the Series will be given away on December 12 in the BIG 50 MILLION$ Event, a $50 tournament with a massive $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event will feature dozens of Day 1 flights in the early days of December, with the first flights opening on December 5. The BIG50 also bring together the biggest player pool of the Series and set a good pace for the rest of the Series.
Other appealing events at the WSOP Winter Online Circuit include the $400 Colossus with a $2,500,000 prize pool, the $10,300 High Roller, and the $2,100 Bounty Hunters Championship, as well as the $100 Mini Main Event, which is scheduled to conclude on January 2, and guarantees $2 million in prizes.
With GGPoker giving away $10,000,000 in promotions in December and the WSOP Winter Online Circuit running, the festive season should be very exciting for players at one of the world’s biggest online poker rooms.
Even More Prizes at the WSOP Winter Online Circuit
The 18 WSOPC Gold Rings and the millions of dollars in cash prizes are just a part of the value that awaits players entering the WSOP Winter Online Circuit this year.
Like previous years, GGPoker is running a $100k Leaderboard. The 100 top placed players who accumulate the most points by playing in both the Ring and the side events will get a chunk of the prize pool, with exact distribution yet to be announced.
Another exciting news for all players looking to take part in the WSOP Winter Online Circuit is the fact that all 18 Ring winners will get their entry tickets into a special $1 million freeroll, which the operator will host in Las Vegas sometime next year.
Overall, the value of playing in the WSOP Winter Online Circuit is fairly high, especially for tournament regs who now get these extra perks on top of their usual, day-to-day grind.
A Marathon of Poker at GGPoker
While the 18 WSOPC Ring events are the key tournaments, the full tournament schedule at the site paints a different picture, with hundreds of extra events taking place, awarding more than $100,000,000 in prizes altogether.
The Series itself is running a handful of very high-stakes tournaments, with one $1,050, several $1,500, one $2,100, and one $10,300 event on the schedule. However, numerous other high-stakes events will be running on the side, giving high-rollers plenty of chance to get down and dirty.
Lower-stakes players can also look forward to a rich schedule of tournaments, with a massive number of events in the $11 – $55 range boasting huge prize pools and likely thousands of entries.
Many of these tournaments are rebranded versions of the usual tournament schedule. But even so, taken all together the WSOP Online Cicuit Series is one of the standout series of the year.
There will hardly be a better time to grind out the online poker tournaments than the festive season, which means all players with access to GGPoker should get their bankrolls ready and their game sharp in time for the WSOP Winter Online Circuit.
