You can sit into a WSOP event from just $50, which means absolutely anyone can set their sights on a WSOP gold ring.
GGPoker, the new king of the online poker industry, has announced the return of the WSOP Online Circuit Series offering yet another $100 million in prize money.
The 2022 WSOP Spring Circuit series on GGPoker will run from March 24 for over three weeks and will feature 18 headline ring events and hundreds of side events culminating in a $5 million guaranteed Main Event, much like the previous Winter Circuit edition.
As the name suggests, the winner of each Circuit ring event will be awarded a coveted WSOP gold ring, in addition to the first-place prize. On top of that, they will also earn an invitation to the $1 million “Tournament of Champions” freeroll slated to run as part of the summer WSOP 2022 live series in Las Vegas, a $1500 entry to the Millionaire Maker WSOP bracelet event, and various other perks.
Twelve of these 18 ring events boast guarantees of at least $1 million including a $50 buy-in MILLION$ Mini Main Event — the cheapest event to offer a gold ring.
“With at least $100M and 18 WSOP gold rings up for grabs, the WSOP Spring Online Circuit is something for all players to look forward to,” said Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker Global Ambassador. “You can sit into a WSOP event from just $50, which means absolutely anyone can set their sights on a WSOP gold ring.”

Popular Live Format Mystery Bounty to Make Debut on GGPoker
While much of the festival details replicate the previous editions, perhaps the most intriguing addition to the upcoming Circuit series is the Mystery Bounty tournaments format.
The ever-growing and trending Mystery Bounty has become a sensation lately, with almost all big live organizers spreading this format. It made its debut at the recently concluded EPT Prague and will also make its first appearance at the 53rd Annual World Series of Poker.
The tournament plays like a typical bounty event, with a portion of the prize pool going towards bounties and the remainder going to the regular prize pool. Players are awarded a cash prize each time they knock someone out. But, there’s a twist — not all bounties have the same value: Some of them carry mystery bounties that could be worth $100,000 or even $1 million.
Now, the increasingly popular format is all set to make its way to the current world’s number one online poker room GGPoker. There are two “Mystery Bounty” events in the lineup at the GG WSOP Spring Circuit Series with buy-ins of $210 and $2100. Both of them are designated as ring events.
GGPoker is not the first operator to bring this format to the virtual felt. Ukraine-based online poker room PokerMatch introduced “Mystique Bounty” tournaments in February, inspired by its popularity in the live field.
How will the Mystery Bounty Format Work on GGPoker?
While not many details are available, pokerfuse can reveal that the Mystery Bounty events on GGPoker will adopt the format in which the bounties will begin on Day 2. Half of the buy-in will go to the bounty portion and the remaining half to the regular prize pool. Day 1 will play out as a regular tournament and players will be able to re-enter. Players will start the tournament with a 25,000 starting stack and the blinds will go up every 12 minutes.
The bounty will be determined by a random draw with the top prize as $100,000. It is unknown what the minimum bounty prize would be, but it is expected to be at least 5 to 10 times the buy-in amount.
GGPoker Mystery Bounty Event At a Glance:
- Half of the buy-in goes to the bounty portion, the other half to the regular prize pool
- Day 1 plays as a normal tournament
- Bounty begins on Day 2 and every player that makes it to Day 2 automatically becomes a bounty
- The bounty a player wins is determined by a random draw
- Mystery bounty prizes go up to $100,000
The two new Mystery Bounty events with buy-ins of $210 and $2100 will be played as phased events featuring multiple starting flights, with final Day 2s scheduled for April 10 and 17. They will carry guaranteed prize pools of $1 million and $2 million respectively.
Tournament grinders will no doubt try to work out the mathematically optimal strategy for these new events. It might result in players playing tight towards the end of Day 1’s play and may also encourage players to register for the tournament late. It will certainly be interesting to see how the format plays out online. If well-received, it is very much possible, the format may expand to the operator’s weekly tournament schedule.

The rest of the schedule is filled with a dizzying mix of game varieties and structures including Deepstacks, Turbos, Freezeouts, Short Decks, and Bounty Giants, where a large portion of the buy-in goes to the bounty prize pool.
