Winning a WSOP bracelet is a dream of many serious and casual players alike. In the years past, the only way to win one of these trinkets was to travel to one of WSOP’s live tournament destinations like Las Vegas or Rozvadov, but things have changed a lot lately. These days, it is possible to win a WSOP bracelet from the comfort of your own home, and Ontario online poker players have ample opportunities every year to do just that.
If winning a bracelet is on your bucket list, GGPoker Ontario, which operates in partnership with WSOP, is the site that will open a world of possibilities. Since 2022, the operator has regularly hosted bracelet-awarding events open to all online poker players in Ontario.
GGPoker has teamed up with the World Series of Poker, and for several years now, the duo has been organizing online bracelet tournaments in the global market. This practice now extends to the regulated market of Ontario, helping the operator stand out from other licensed sites in the province, as the one and only place Ontario players can win genuine WSOP gold bracelets from home.

GGPoker and WSOP Set the Scene in Ontario
GGPoker wasted no time throwing a few bracelet events upon launching in the province. In October 2022, the operator held the first series of bracelet events in Ontario, awarding three bracelets in total.
Tournament buy-ins were reasonable, allowing almost everyone to take a shot. The only really expensive event of the three was the C$1050 GGMaster Online Championship, while the other two events had buy-ins of C$150 and C$210.
Not surprisingly, players came out in droves, and most events consistently met and shattered its guarantees. Still, compared to the massive fields we have witnessed in live tournaments in Las Vegas this year, this mini-series was the best shot for Ontario poker players to get their hands on the WSOP gold.
Eight Bracelets in 2023
GGPoker Ontario may have started cautiously in the new market, but less than a year later, in August — September 2023, the operator was back with another Ontario online poker bracelet series. The site upped the ante this time, offering a whopping eight bracelets.
Once again, the range of buy-ins was quite wide, with the lowest entry at just $100. On top of this, many different satellites were running on the site, allowing players to try and qualify for bracelet tournaments for much less.
Once again, the series was a big success, as there are very few things in poker that attract players as much as big guarantees and trophies that they can be proud of — and GGPoker Ontario offered both!
More WSOP Bracelets to Come in 2024?
While it is too early to speak about any definitive plans for the 2024 WSOP, either live or online, it is safe to assume that GGPoker and WSOP Ontario will continue down the same path, probably scheduling even more bracelet events the next year.
While GGPoker has a lot to offer across the board, the ability to throw bracelet tournaments is one thing that sets it apart from other Ontario poker sites, and it is hard to imagine a reason why the operator would give up on that advantage.
If you haven’t yet checked this operator out, set up your GGPoker Ontario account and start warming up with some regular events on the schedule, as the next WSOP online series will arrive before you know it!
