It’s finally happened! The World Series of Poker has consolidated its platform, bringing together players from Michigan, New Jersey, and Nevada and giving everyone access to the new software. The fresh platform has launched under the name WSOP Online, and the operator is celebrating this momentous occasion with a host of promotions.
Players in Michigan and New Jersey who managed to pre-register for their WSOP Online account will get to play in a special freeroll on June 20, which will award the 2024 WSOP Main Event seat to the winner.
Those who missed the boat on the pre-registration offer still have something to look forward to though, as the operator is hosting a celebratory $100,000 freeroll open to all depositing players. Read on to learn how to get involved and claim a share of the six-figure prize pool.
- Up to $100 in free play with first deposit*
- Top-quality software
- Compete for WSOP bracelets & rings
All Players Welcome
Unlike the pre-registration offer, which applied only to MI and NJ players, the $100k freeroll is open to everyone playing on the new WSOP Online platform.
To get involved, all you have to do is have a valid WSOP Online account and make a real money deposit of at least $10 by June 26, 2024.
All qualifying players will receive a ticket to the freeroll taking place on June 30, where WSOP Online will be giving away $100,000 in cash prizes. It’s important to note that you’ll need to manually register for the tournament using the ticket, so make sure to do it before the event starts.
The tournament features a prize pool of $100,000, and, as mentioned, players from Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey are welcome to join the action. A simple $10 deposit prior to the end-of-day June 26 will give you an entry.
The Online Bracelet Schedule Is Out
It is safe to assume WSOP Online will be featuring more promotions in the weeks to come, including special deposit offers for existing customers.
In the meantime, however, another thing to get excited about is that the full schedule for online bracelet events has been revealed, and it’s bigger than ever before.
There are 30 events in total, running June 1 — July 21, with buy-ins starting as low as $333. For the first time in the history of US online poker, players from Michigan will share the same tables with those playing online poker in Nevada and New Jersey in pursuit of WSOP gold glory.
In addition to a wide range of buy-ins to accommodate every bankroll, the 2024 online bracelet series brings a lot of novel and different formats and variations, including Mystery Bounties, PKOs, and reentry tournaments with multiple flights.
To top it all off, WSOP Online will be offering a variety of qualifiers for live bracelet events, and especially the Main Event. Those looking to get a seat will be able to start their journey for as little as $1.
The arrival of WSOP Online and the merger of three jurisdictions could usher in a new era of online poker in the United States. For now, Pennsylvania online poker players still remain on the outside, but we remain hopeful this will change in the near future.
