For the first time since Italian regulation has permitted cash games, the total number of active players in Italy is greater now than in France.
As indicated by its 30-day moving average of cash game players, based on data provided by independent monitor PokerScout (see screenshot below), the combined active player numbers is larger across the Italian networks than the French. It overtook France on August 1 and has since maintained a slight lead, with 3537 average concurrent players over the last month, compared to 3523 in France.
