Full Tilt has published schedules, tournament formats and prizes for the 23rd Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).
39 events have $8m in prize money guaranteed. The event kicks off on August 4, finishing with the main event on August 18.
The series features many Full Tilt innovations, including re-entry and multi-entry tournaments, together with Double and Triple Chance events. These all feature some variation of a second chance to continue in a tournament after busting out.
The $650 main is itself a re-entry event, where players losing before the late registration period ends can buy back in and retain their opportunity to win a share of the $1.5m guarantee. The $2100 buy-in 2 day tournament which starts the day before the main event is also re-entry.
Five Rush tournaments are offered, and there are new events for 5 Card Omaha (Event #9), 6 Card Omaha (Event #28) and Courchevel (Event #13). Irish, 5 Card Stud and Escalator tournaments are also included.
All players who manage to make a final table in any event will be sent a complimentary limited edition FTOPS jacket. Event winners will also get a gold FTOPS jersey and a gold-jersey avatar.
Top prize for the FTOPS tournament leaderboard will be a package worth around $11k, consisting of entries for all FTOPS XXIV events—excluding the two day event—and a custom avatar.
Players for whom the full FTOPS events are too rich will get the chance to play exactly the same series of events, but at roughly a tenth of the buy in, in the Mini FTOPS, which starts on September 8.
