Bloomberg Television, the 24-hour business and financial television network, is set to debut a new poker show. “Poker Night On Wall Street” is the new program that takes, not poker professionals, but an elite group of hedge fund managers and has them play out a 6-max Sit & Go for charity.

The $50k buyin single table tournament features a wealth of Wall Street’s biggest investors including Greenlight Capital’s David Einhorn, Kynikos Associates’ Jim Chanos, Gabelli Asset Management’s Mario Gabelli, Pine River Capital Management’s Steve Kuhn, Ariel Investments’ John Rogers and well traveled businessman turned high-roller, Skylar Capital Management’s Bill Perkins.

This isn’t the first time in the poker spotlight for either Perkins or Einhorn. Perkins has appeared on both PokerStars’ “The Big Game” as well as “High Stakes Poker”, in addition to finishing in 3rd place in the 2013 $111,111 One Drop High Roller during this past year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP), Perkins, even more recently, placed 4th in the European Poker Tour London Super High Roller.

Einhorn, the billionaire who once flirted with purchasing a minority share of the New York Mets, also has seen his share of televised poker time as he is well known for taking 18th place in the 2006 WSOP Main event as well as 3rd place in the inaugural Big One For One Drop $1m buyin, where he won over $4m and promptly donated the entire score to charity.

The game was taped at the Borgata Casino & Spa in Atlantic City and will air tonight, October 23, at 9pm EST/PST on Bloomberg TV. “Poker Night On Wall Street” can also be livestreamed from the Bloomberberg TV website.
