The GGPoker 2021 WSOP Main Event failed to meet its $20,000,000 Guarantee by over $500,000, but the overall series has still been a resounding success.
Two thirds of the festival is now complete and the series is gearing up for the flagship $5,000 Main Event.
WSOP PA players will now have a chance to win an official gold ring as the inaugural PA WSOP Online Circuit series kicks off in September.
Players from Brazil have already won five titles as the series has surpassed all guarantees so far and attracted more than 69,000 entries in the first 17 events.
Online poker players from the South American powerhouse have won four out of the first 12 gold bracelets and recorded seven top-three finishes.
Each WSOP Main Event package is worth $12,500 and includes a seat to the Main Event as well as accommodation and travel expenses.
