Inside PRO is a new series of articles for Poker Industry PRO subscribers to help them get the most out of their subscription.
In the first installment, we look at four features on every news article that will help you learn more on the subject discussed—news tags, article series, full story sources and article summaries.
The first three options can be accessed on the left column to the side of each news article, as shown below. If you are browsing on phone or tablet, they are shown in the footer of the article.
Sources
Every pokerfuse article lists complete external links to source information. This will include primary source material where available along with links to any supporting documents. For complex topics, additional sources may be added to provide further background information.
Clicking on the source opens a new tab in your browser which takes you directly to the external source.
Tags
The “tags” heading lists the main subjects referred to in the text. For example, PokerStars, Norway, Phil Ivey or Bitcoin are all Poker Industry PRO tags.
Along with being listed on the right-hand side, tags are also linked in the article body—as above—at their first occurrence.
Clicking on the highlighted word either in the article text or under the “Tags” heading takes readers to a page dedicated to that subject. For PRO Data subscribers, if the tag refers to a jurisdiction, network or company, then it will link to the entry in the pokerfuse PRO Directory; If not, it will link to a page listing articles which also include the tag.
Phrases highlighted in red are in-line links which go to previous pokerfuse articles—those with an icon go to an external internet information source.

Series
When a topic looks like it will be significant for a period of time, Poker Industry PRO creates a “series” entry for the subject—a collection of articles following an ongoing or developing story. For example, Amaya Acquires PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker.
Clicking on the link takes readers to a list of other articles in the series. Regular columns like Inside PRO are also collected into series.

Summaries
Exclusive to PRO subscribers are bullet-point summaries for all articles, which can give you an at-a-glance overview of the topic covered
These can be seen on the right hand side, under “article highlights.” On phone and tablet, clicking the “show summary” button at the top of the article will display the article summary.
Summaries are also used in the daily newsletter.
