- Michigan’s fantasy sports market grew year-over-year due to DFS+ operator PrizePicks’ performance.
- Market revenue in July was $1.4 million, rising 39% from the same month last year.
- DraftKings and FanDuel, market stalwarts, reported one of their lowest monthly revenues.
The Michigan fantasy sports market again managed to grow year-over-year thanks entirely to the performance of “DFS+” operator PrizePicks.
Market revenue in July was $1.4 million, up 39% on the same month a year ago. The market stalwarts DraftKings and FanDuel took in just $361k and $140k of that, among their lowest monthly revenue reports on record.
Meanwhile, PrizePicks reported $837k for a market share of 60%. That may be down on prior months, though given the off-season, that is not surprising. In July 2022, it reported $118k in revenue, growing 7x that in a year.
Season-long NFL operator FFPC also helped out the market. It took in $50k in pre-season contest entries last month, which is up on $31k in July of last year.
