Weekend Sweeteners

This weekend is the last weekend players can enter the Go for Gold promotion that is sending players to a $50K freeroll in Vegas. However, it marks the start of a massive Main Event seat giveaway, with 112 Main Event seats up for grabs for online players via satellite routes only.

Seat Sprints to the Main Event Running From Sunday

112 Main Event seats will be given away online starting this Sunday as the WSOP’s Seat Sprint promotion gets underway.

From Sunday until July 8, 10 Main Event seats will be guaranteed daily in satellites.

From June 25 to the end of the 2023 World Series of Poker, “All In” Satellites are running without fees. Buy-ins start from $80 to $126 and will run daily. All-In Satellites are rake-free NLH poker tournaments where, at the beginning of the tournament, all players go all-in until there is a winner.

Dates to Remember:

  • On July 2, the WSOP will run their 25 Seat Scramble, awarding 25 seats to the Main Event.
  • On July 8, there will be a last-chance drawing for a Main Event seat.

Go for Gold with Jamie Gold

WSOP’s Going for Gold promotion heads into its final weekend for Nevada and New Jersey players.

How it works: Players who outlast 2006 Main Event winner Jamie Gold at the online tables will earn entry into a drawing that will send the ultimate winner to a $50,000 Freeroll in Las Vegas. The freeroll will take place on July 5.

In addition, the WSOP is giving players another way to enter the drawing into the freeroll this Sunday via their cash game tables. Players who log onto the WSOP app online cash games between 3:30 pm PT and 11:30 pm PT and earn a minimum of 10 APPs (Action Player Points) will qualify for one drawing entry.

This means that even if a player doesn’t outlast Jamie Gold in the Online Bracelet Events, they still have a shot at the $50,000 freeroll.

Gold will also be streaming his attempts to take down an online gold bracelet, with the action kicking off on Twitch at 3:30 pm PST.
