The amendments that were shared with members of the California gaming industry, and which were instrumental in the passage of AB 431 through the Governmental Organization committee earlier this month, were finally released to the public.

Language of the amendments are very vague and are still do not give any indication of where the bill will eventually be on the two pivotal topics, the inclusion of the horse racing industry and PokerStars.

Santa Ysabel

David Vialpando, Chairman of the Santa Ysabel Tribal Gaming Commission, authored an open letter to the National Indian Gaming Commission expressing his frustration with the commission’s lack of response to the tribe’s request for “guidance and assistance.”

Santa Ysabel is currently involved in litigation with the state of California over offering real money bingo online in the state.
