Partypoker

Partypoker announced its new poker tournament format, Sit and Go Hero, on the dot-com network last week.

The new variant borrows many elements from the runaway success of Lottery Sit and Gos, available on PokerStars, Winamax, Full Tilt, iPoker and elsewhere: Short-handed, winner takes all tournaments where the prize is picked randomly each game.

However, party’s format varies in two important ways: Firstly, games are four-handed, instead of the usual three. Secondly, the tournament randomly adds a bounty element: One player at the table has a bounty on his/her head valued at 25% of the prize pool.
