- The Special Committee on National Development (CEDN) in Brazil’s parliament has voted to approve amendments to a new gambling law proposed by Senator Ciro Nogueira in July 2014.
- The five amendments which have been added to the text of the bill do not fundamentally change the bill which would create a system of tax and regulation where offshore operators can apply for online gambling licenses.
