Global online poker operator GGPoker has kicked off the fourth edition of its Super MILLION$ Week high-stakes poker series. It comes with $40 million in guarantees spread over more than 70 events, which makes it, by far, the biggest in the history of the series thus far.
The tournament series was initially announced with a guarantee of $20 million and the usual week-long duration, but the operator extended the schedule on short notice by one week. As a result, the newest, record-setting Super MILLION$ Week 2022 takes place through February 6, kicking off this past Sunday, Jan 23, and spanning 15 days in total.
Another tournament series has been scheduled to run on its heels, as the Asia Poker League Online Series returns for its third iteration from January 30 to February 13. The festival boasts ¥80,000,000 in guarantees ($12.6 million) and 20 jade trophy events are part of the schedule to make for a busy start into the new year.
