Gus Fritschie attended the 19th East Coast Gaming Congress & iGaming Institute last week held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The schedule was filled with a number of interesting panel discussions ranging from igaming to what changes Atlantic City needs to make to its land based operations in order to survive.

iGaming at 1.5 – Baby Steps?

The panelists included Mario Galea, who was referred to as the doctor that birthed igaming in New Jersey, Thomas Winter, of the Golden Nugget, Tom Ballance of the Borgata, Jim Ryan of Pala Interactive, and Rebecca Satterfield of the Delaware Lottery. The general theme of the discussion was that the original projections were unrealistic, and that overall the casinos are pleased with the current performance.
