A coalition of gaming interests that favors online poker regulation in California has described recent amendments to Adam Gray’s AB 2863 as a “step in the right direction.”

The group, consisting of PokerStars parent company Amaya, the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the Commerce Casino, Hawaiian Gardens Casino and the Bicycle Casino, issued a statement on Friday praising Gray “for moving the ball forward on iPoker and addressing the final two key issues in his bill.”
