The second installment of the international WSOP Online Bracelet series on GGPoker continues its successful start after one-third of the schedule has wrapped up.

Based on numbers compiled by PRO, the first 12 tournaments out of the 33 gold bracelet events scheduled have generated prize pools of more than $30 million. The last two big events alone generated more than $11.5 million in prize money and bumped the average so far to more than $2.5 million.

During the quiet summer period in which global online poker traffic usually slows down, close to 60,000 entries have been recorded across the gold bracelet events so far. This is mostly due to the opening Event #1 $50 The Return, which represents more than half of the entries to date.
